One person was taken to United Hospital Center Sunday morning after he or she was struck by a vehicle, according to Harrison County 911.It happened on Capital Avenue in East View just before 6 a.m.The Harrison County Sheriff's DDepartmentis investigating.No word on that person's name or condition.

Four West Virginia University football players were cited for possession of marijuana at a dorm earlier in the week.According to WVU Police, Xavier Preston, Yodny Cajuste, Jaleel Fields and Dravon Henry were all cited at Lincoln Hall.Henry, 19, started all 13 games at free safety in the last season. Preston, 18, played in nine games on defense and special teams. Cajuste, 18, and Field, 19, are both redshirt freshmen.
