1 Person Sent to Hospital After 5 Vehicle Accident in Harrison County

One person was transported to a local hospital after a five vehicle accident on Thursday evening.  According to 911 officials, it happened around 6:10 p.m. on Route 20 in Quiet Dell.  Emergency crews took one person to United Hospital Center.  No word on what caused the accident and no name or condition has been released. The Harrison County Sheriff's Department is handling the investigation.

Three people were transported to the hospital after a single vehicle roll over accident in Harrison County. According to Bridgeport Police, it happened around 8:40 Tuesday evening on I-79 near the Jerry Dove Exit. All three people were transported to United Hospital Center with non-life threatening injuries. Police believe the accident was weather related. One person was taken to the hospital after a motorcycle crash in Taylor County. It happened just before 4:30 p.m., Sunday on Wendel Road near Flemington. Harrison County 911 said the driver of the bike was flown by Healthnet to Ruby Memorial Hospital. Flemington Fire Department and EMS responded to the scene. The Taylor County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
